CONNECTIONS Forum – a “think tank” and “information clearinghouse” for the City of Rosemead that meets on the last Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Rosemead Public Safety Center to help discover ways to keep young people away from drugs and alcohol.
L.A. Works – Helps find volunteer opportunities all over the L.A. area. You can perform a search, browse organizations, or find an event to join.
Violence Intervention Program – VIP in “East Los Angeles cares for victims of child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence and elder and dependent adult abuse.” They need mentors, tutors, office help, and other volunteers.
